1. How did Mark Twain influence the world of literature and its impact to the society up
to present?
 Mark Twain is an American comedian, journalist, lecturer, moralist, and novelist
who gained international acclaim for his travel story and literary work that has
influenced the world of literature and society. Twain is a gifted person who excels
in telling anecdotes, a distinctive humorist, and an irascible moralist who works
best in short pieces. He rose above his ostensibly limiting background to become
America's most beloved public person and one of the country's best and most
lovable writers. All modern American literature may be traced back to one book
by Mark Twain, "Huckleberry Finn." Mark Twain's belief in defying societal
conventions is best exemplified in Huckleberry Finn. He influenced society
because the viewpoints he expressed in his writings and literary works gave
people a new perspective on life.

2. How and why Samuel Clemens get the named “Mark Twain” and become a regional
colorists of America?
 As a newspaper correspondent in Nevada in February 1863, Clemens initially
signed his articles with the name. The term "Mark Twain" (literally "number two")
came from the Mississippi River, where the second mark on the depth line meant
two fathoms, or twelve feet—a safe depth for the steamboat.

3. How did the Modernism differ from the Harlem Renaissance?


 As a radical break from the past, modernism uses art to express modern living.
Modern life appeared to be vastly different from traditional life, being more
scientific, speedier, and more technologically advanced. These developments
are embraced by modernism. Technological advancements in the world of
factories and machinery prompted a renewed interest in artistic techniques.

Mark Twain was a handsome young guy. He is of


average height and build, with light brown hair and a
reddish brown mustache, normal features and a
bright complexion, and a unique style of wrinkling up
his nose.

Mark Twain was born on November 30, 1835 in Florida, Missouri.


In 1839 his family moved to the Mississippi port town, of
Hannibal in search of greater economic opportunities. He was the
sixth of seven children.

Mark Twain was an author, Humonist, journalist, and lecturer. Mark


Twain went to work for his brother in a printing shop, where he was
taught as a typesetter and finally won an award for the quality of his
work.

culture at the time, such as racism, landscapes, class barriers, and access to
education, to name a few. With his literature, he even attacked socially
acceptable acts like lynching and slavery.
