Hardware acceleration is either disabled or not supported by your video card driver, which could slow

game perfomance. Make sure you have the latest video card driver installed and that hardware
acceleration is turned on.

Good Day! Thanks for showing an interest in the HP community. I reviewed the post regarding Video
card driver installation and to enable hardware acceleration.  I’ll be delighted to assist you with this.

You are a valued HP customer and we appreciate you greatly for doing business with HP. I have
reviewed the situation and it is paramount that we address your issue. Superb and brilliant diagnosis
of the issue were done before posting.
I would require more information in this regard to assist you better.

 What made you update the Graphics drivers?

 Did you run hardware diagnostics on the computer?

For a start please try these steps to enable Hardware acceleration on the computer.

Please check in device manager if the AMD display driver is installed correctly and does not show any
errors.

 Right-Click on start button> click device manager> expand display adapters>then select
the display drivers that are listed and right-click on it and uninstall the drivers.
 Check the box that states delete the software for this device.
 Then restart the computer and update the bios chipset and graphic drivers in the same
order from this link.
 Please ensure to update the bios first, then the chipset drivers and lastly the display
drivers. This should do the trick for you if the graphics card is not faulty.
 If you still get the error message during installation then follow these steps.
 Press the Windows key + the Letter R to bring up the run command window.
 Type dxdiag.exe in the run command window
 A dialogue box opens up.  Enable hardware acceleration from there, both on the
display1 tab and sound tab.  Or try this step
 For Windows 7 go to control panel/display/screen resolution then click the advanced
settings on the middle right hand side of the page, then click on the troubleshooting tab,
from there you click the change settings, when you get to this page you should see your
acceleration bar and it should already be on the full setting.
 Then reinstall the graphics drivers by following the process of uninstalling it in device
manager and reinstalling it.
