AUTOMATIC BILLING SYSTEM USING ZIGBEE

ABSTRACT
This project deals with the safe and easy billing system where
we are using in shopping malls. Because billing nowadays is very hectic and time
consuming factor in big shopping markets. Hence we need to stand in a big queue
for billing after shopping the items. So here we deal this problem with the
automatic billing system using Zigbee communication method. In this the items
what we purchase is to be readed using barcode reader in the trolley. After
finishing purchase all items information will send to the billing section using
Zigbee transmitter with that trolley reference ID.That information is stored in the
computer that is easy way to pay bill by avoiding queue. If we want any items that
are not in the items display we can ask the items using voice transmitter and you
can receive the answer by the same voice receiver. After finishing shopping if you
paid the bill fully then the door will open automatically.

 In existing system the billing process is very time consuming and we have
to wait in queue for long time and the process of billing is also very long to
take the products to home after billing.
 So here we deal with the project to avoid this type of problems in billing
process. Using automatic billing system we can analyze this problem in
simple way.
 This process is the easy way of shopping and no need to wait in queue for
long time to bill your products what you purchase.

DISADVANTAGE

 Waiting in a queue for a long time.

 Time consuming.
 Unbilling of the products, may cause loss to the shop keeper.
PROPOSED SYSTEM

 In proposed system we overcome this project by using Zigbee

communication modem. In this the items what we purchase is to be readed
using barcode reader in the trolley.
 After finishing purchase all items information will send to the billing

information is stored in the computer that is easy way to pay bill by
avoiding queue.
