Firstly, we would like to thank you for being a Saudi Electricity Company (SEC)
supplier. As you may be aware from previous communications, SEC will be launching
a new e-procurement solution using SAP ARIBA, which will streamline the
procurement process and digitalize the procurement life cycle from sourcing to
settlement.

We are confident that this solution will deliver significant value and numerous
benefits to all of our stakeholders.
The Registration on Ariba is going to be mandatory as SEC is expecting all of its
suppliers to officially register their company details, fill out all required fields, and
submit their profile via the Ariba Network by October 15, 2022.
What are the next steps and actions required?
1-To introduce the new e-Procurement processes of SEC on the SAP Ariba Network,
SEC and SAP are organizing Supplier Summits to provide the necessary training to
complete the onboarding registration and qualification process.
We would like to invite you to participate into the Supplier Summit that will take
place as per below; please refer to attached guideline on how to book a training
session.
Note: If the SAP Ariba supplier registration is not completed, you may lose the
future enquires and the business opportunities from SEC.
4. In the coming days, you will be receiving email from
AribaSupport@se.com.sa to follow up with you on the summit registration and
will help you on the supplier registration on Ariba Network.
5. After you complete your registration, SEC will review your details and
corresponding documents that you can attach and you will receive a notification
via email once your profile approved. Your registration via the Ariba Network
must be complete and approved prior to receiving any further documents such
as Requests for Quotations and Purchase Orders.
