Tunggal Pawestri adalah pegiat isu keadilan gender, HAM dan kebebasan sipil.

Ia saat ini bekerja sebagai Direktur


Eksekutif Yayasan Humanis dan Inovasi Sosial, (Yayasan HIVOS) yang wilayah kerjanya meliputi Indonesia, Timor
Leste, Filipina dan Myanmar. Selain itu Tunggal Pawestri juga merupakan bagian dari tim penasehat untuk Keamanan
Perempuan di Facebook (Facebook’s Global Women Safety Expert Advisor). Tunggal kerap menulis op-ed/artikel
terkait isu gender, seksualitas, HAM dan kebebasan sipil di media massa. Ia juga pernah menjadi produser untuk film-
film pendek yang salah satunya lolos dalam kompetisi berpengaruh di Cannes Film Festival 2015.
