HEALTH AND ARABIC ASSESSMENT

REFLECTION
Both the Arabic and health assessment was fun to do. These assessments taught me that we should
all pack healthy foods in our lunch boxes for crunch and sip, recess and lunch and this assessment
definitely encouraged me and others to pack healthy things in my lunchbox. I think people don’t
really realise that its not good to always have unhealthy things in your lunchbox. Most of the time
kids have unhealthy things in their lunchboxes and no fruit like for e.g., chips, lollies etc. It is
important to pack fruits and healthy sandwiches like an avocado sandwich or maybe a salad. These
assessments have encouraged me to pack healthier options like as I said before fruits and
vegetables. For my health assessment I had to replace unhealthy foods with healthy foods like
cheesy dip and crackers. I replaced it with healthy multi grain crackers, and I had to explain that it is
important for everyone to include healthy things in their lunchboxes. For my Arabic assessment I had
to make a healthy lunch box. In my lunchbox I put healthy fruits instead of unhealthy foods. It is very
important for everyone like children and including adults and elderly to eat healthy. Children should
eating healthy in childhood means they will have less chance of developing chronic diseases like
heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity and some cancers and it is important for adults to eat healthy
because it protects you against many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as heart disease,
diabetes and cancer and it is good for elderly to have healthy foods because it can help you maintain
a healthy weight, stay energized, and get the nutrients you need. Overall, I enjoyed these
assessments and taught me and others why we should choose healthier options.
