I. Circle Time Routine:
Walking in the line song. Choose a helper by using “Knock-knock who is there?” technique. Set up the calendar by asking the students TIC sums the date today - ask one by one start with the helper then continue with K1/K2/Prep. Check the weather - sum up Pray “Thank you God for the sun and the water, and the air. Bless us as we learn. Bless our teachers and our friends. Amen.” Sing good morning and ask how are you? “Good morning, good morning and how do you do. Good morning, good morning, I’m fine how are you?
II. Presentation of Topic
Tell Ss that our topic for this week is Wonderful Morocco. T show picture of landmark in Morocco. “I will show you the landmark of Morocco. This is Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. The Hassan II Mosque is open to all Muslims during daily prayer times. Non- Muslim visitors can enter the mosque on tours that are held in English several times a day.” T show picture of popular foods in Morocco. “This is the popular food in Morocco that called couscous. Couscous is usually made of meat and vegetables cooked in a delicious broth served on a bed of steamed semolina granules” T show picture of another popular foods in Morocco. “I will show you another popular food in Morocco, this called Bastilla. Bastilla is chicken pie that made for special occasions in Morocco such as holidays or weddings”
