Using

Examplify
Supreme Court of the Philippines
2022 Bar Examinations
CHECK YOUR BAR PLUS-
REGISTERED EMAIL
If your application for the 2022 Bar Examinations was approved, you
should receive your registration information for Examplify in your Bar
PLUS-registered email.

[DATE AND TIME]

Approved candidates for the 2022 Bar Examinations will receive an email
with the subject "EXAMPLIFY REGISTRATION INFORMATION for the 2022
Bar Examinations". The email will contain the following:
instructions on how to install Examplify on your laptop;
your log-in credentials for the 2022 Bar Examinations;
information about the Sample Examinations; and the
resources for technical support and troubleshooting.

If your Bar PLUS-registered e-mail address is managed by your law


school, university, college, company, or organization, kindly contact
your IT administrators to ensure that the above addresses are
whitelisted or marked “safe senders” in the email servers.

If you have not received the registration information email in your


INBOX, please check your SPAM or JUNK folders.

You should receive your registration information email on or before 2


September 28, 2022.
INSTALLATION OF
EXAMPLIFY

Using Firefox or Chrome browsers, go to the Supreme Court's


ExamSoft Portal: https://www.examsoft.com/scPhilippines

Enter your Applicant ID and system-


generated Password in the Exam Takers
portal on the upper left portion of the page.

NOTE: You should keep your registration


information (i.e. Applicant ID and Password)
confidential and secure.

You are also encouraged to change the


system-generated password to a stronger
password that is easy to remember.

Remember that you are responsible for

memorizing your own password and for
keeping it secure.
EXAM
TAKERS
PORTAL
In the Exam Taker Portal, under the Examplify
Tab, you will see the minimum system
requirements required for Examplify to
properly run on your device.

Once you have determined that your laptop is


compatible with Examplify, you may click the
Download button. Follow the on-screen
prompts to launch the installer.

The use of Examplify is included in the Bar


Examinations Fees. The Supreme Court will not
charge additional fees for the use of Examplify.

Download Examplify on the same laptop you


will use for the exams.

Make sure to download the correct


EXAMPLIFY version of Examplify:
Windows OS laptops - Examplify
VERSION version 2.9.6
macOS laptops - Examplify
version 2.9.2

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Examplify version 2.9.6 for Windows
forces a restart of the device upon
installation, even after choosing the
"Restart Later" option.
Examinees using macOS on their
laptops should NOT update their
operating system to macOS 13 Ventura
after installing Examplify. macOS 13
Ventura, the latest operating system
expected to be released in October
2022 is NOT compatible with this
version of Examplify.
Turn off automatic OS updates if it is

turned on or set as the defaultpn

on your laptop.
REGISTRATION
After installation, launch Examplify and
you will be prompted to register.

After agreeing to the Software License Agreement, you will be


prompted to enter the Institution ID sent to you via email. The
Institution ID for the 2022 Bar Examinations is as follows:

Enter your log-in credentials:


Enter your Applicant ID for the
User ID field and your password.

Upon sign-in, you are officially


registered in Examplify.

Remember to keep your Examplify


credentials confidential.

For the download, use the same

After signing in, you will be taken to the


Examplify Dashboard where you can see the
available exams and their status on the left-hand
pane:
'Ready for Download' - once an exam
becomes available for download to the
examinee.
'Downloaded' - once an exam is
downloaded into the laptop. A downloaded
exam will require the examinee to input the
exam password.
'Completed' - once an exam is completed
and the answer file is submitted.

If an exam should be available for download but it is not appearing on


the left-hand pane of the Dashboard, you may click 'Refresh Exam List'

on the bottom left of the screen.
CHANGE THE
DEFAULT FONT

In your Dashboard, click 'Home Menu' on


the upper right portion of the screen.
Choose 'Preferences' from the drop-down
menu to change the default font.

Set the default font to Times New


Roman, font size 14. Click 'Save
Preferences' afterwards.

TAKING AN EXAM

Once you are finished with your exam, you
may submit your answers by clicking 'Finish'
after the last question, or by going to 'Exam
Controls' and clicking 'Submit Exam'.

If you have unanswered questions,


Examplify will prompt you that there are
incomplete answers.
At this point, you may still choose to
complete the exam by clicking 'Return to
Exam'.

If you are ready to submit the exam, select


'Close Exam'

Selecting 'Close Exam' will bring you to the


blue security checkpoint prior to the
submission of the answer file

You are again given the option to 'Go


Back', or to submit the exam.

If there is time left before the final bell, you


may still review your answers by going back
to the exam-taking window.

If you have decided to submit your answers,


click the checkbox to confirm that you have
completed the exam, and then click
'Submit Exam'.

UPLOADING
THE ANSWER
FILE
Once you choose to submit the exam, the answer file will be encrypted. In
case the exam was in secure mode, your laptop will reconnect to the
internet.

An answer file that was successfully uploaded will show a green


confirmation screen with a check mark. You must show this screen to
the proctor before leaving the exam room.

If you are not connected to the


internet when you upload your
answer, you will receive a screen
that says 'No Internet Connection'.
Stay calm. As long as the laptop is
working, you can retry the upload
until successful.

You may also retry uploading your


answer file through the Examplify
Dashboard.

POLICY ON
LAPTOP USE
Examinees are strictly prohibited from using their LTC’s’ Internet connections for any purpose other than
to download examination files, answer them, and upload the answer files within Examplify. All
requests to access e-mail accounts to retrieve Examplify registration information must be made to the
room Head Proctor, and the retrieval shall be supervised. At the end of the day, the room Head Proctor
shall prepare a report on the examinees who requested internet access to check their e-mail.

While examinees are inside their LTCs, they are strictly prohibited from using their laptops for any
purpose other than to access Examplify within the scheduled periods of the examinations. Any examinee
caught using their laptops for any purpose other than this shall be subject to disciplinary action.

Examinees should also not have any open containers containing food or liquids next to their laptops.
Damage to their laptops in the course of taking the examinations will be the sole responsibility of the
examinees.
