☻ Be careful!
This is group work, which means the activity is based on cooperation. Plan and share the responsibility of the oral
presentation.
You may work separately while finding out the required/relevant information (Don’t forget to register all sources), but
you should prepare your presentation with your partner.
Assign each member more or less the same proportion of the job for a balanced division of work.
Don’t forget to include the required information.
Prepare the visual or audio aids necessary to enhance and illustrate your presentation, so that your audience can
hear and follow your points easily.
Do not translate from your mother tongue, it will quickly get you into trouble!
To keep good control of the time, you should practice timing yourself before the presentation.
Be confident and maintain eye contact with your audience. Look calm and smile at your audience.
Pace yourself well; don’t speak too fast or too slowly.
Make sure you use English accurately and fluently.
This is a piece of work for you to present in class, meaning it has to be quite clear for everybody to understand and
follow it.
Make sure your group is ready on time.
Don’t forget to ask me if you need any help.
Practice, practice, practice. Repeat your presentation speech over and over again. Give it to your family. Give it to
your friends. Give it to your pets. Practice in front of a mirror. Practice in front of a camcorder. Practice in your imagination.
