MYSTERY OF THE RED TRUCK

It has been confirmed that late on the night of the sixth of July, a large red truck ran into the bakery on

Maryland Street. After an initial investigation by police, it is now clear that the truck had no driver at all. The

locals are asking a simple question: “Where was the driver?” If the police want to solve this mystery, they will need

the CCTV footage from the street. One of the locals said: “We’re all quite worried about a truck with no driver.

This truck has never been seen in the neighbourhood before. If we’d seen that truck before, we’d solve this

mystery now.” Many locals share the same concerns. They want to know what’s happening in their town. A witness at

the crime scene told police: “There was a loud noise coming from the truck while it was going towards the building

and its speed.... it was unbelievable. If it had been going slower, I would’ve had a chance to see the driver. But all I

saw was the truck speeding into the bakery as fast as it could. ’’ The police have already spoken with eleven other

residents but no one knows any further details about the incident. Superintendent Amanda Slippers remarked:

“This is a tough case. The truck licence plate belongs to this town, but nobody has seen it here. According to the

town records, the owner of the truck moved away from here years ago. No one knows where to. If we located the

owner, we'd probably solve this mystery.’’ If a truck moves, then it has a driver. Well, maybe we should change this

basic assumption on account of this mysterious red truck.

MY FUTURE PLANS AND EXPECTATIONS

I often wonder about my future as I am about to finish Secondary School. The number one question on my mind is
which profession should I choose? I want a profession that will satisfy me, challenge me, and bring me joy. I
believe that a job should be like a hobby. I want to love my work.

First of all, As soon as I finish Secondary School, I will take the first important exam of my life - the final
graduation exam. I will be tested in four different subjects: the English and German languages, biology, and
chemistry. After my graduation, I will study at the Medical University to become a doctor.

But now, I am focusing my attention on finishing my studies. Also, before I have a family, I would like to travel
overseas. I want to see countries like Japan, Finland and travel through the African continent. After I finish my
education and travels, I plan to get married and have a family. I would like to live with my future family in a quiet,
natural countryside setting.

¿El contexto del estudiante de hoy producirá en un futuro adultos productivos, eficientes, pero inconscientes e irreflexivos?

El futuro del mundo dependerá de nosotros los jóvenes que seremos los próximos empresarios, ingenieros, licenciados,
doctores, entre otros donde ayudaremos a nuestro planeta. Innovando mejores tecnologías y emprendiendo más ideas
que a futuro llegaran a ser tan útiles como lo es hoy en día. El mundo ha cambiado con las grandes tecnologías que el
hombre ha inventado para así brindarnos una mejor calidad de vida e incluso más fácil, haciéndonos unas personas más
flojas. Los avances tecnológicos siempre tendrán sus ventajas pero también tienen sus desventajas.

El conocimiento que nosotros como estudiantes vamos adquiriendo a lo largo del tiempo desde que empezamos a ir al
preescolar hasta terminar una carrera profesional, nosotros como jóvenes tenemos que desempeñarla, no solo eso,
también ejercerla. Algunos estudiantes no la ejercen, algunos dejan su carrera a medias por la falta de dinero otros
deciden formar una familia e inclusive prefieren dejarla porque la profesión es aburrida. Las generaciones futuras no son
capaces para un futuro productivo y eficiente, como hoy en día lo hemos visto con tantos avances. Pienso que tanta
tecnología que ha salido nos ha afectado. La mayoría de los adolescentes de hoy en día prefieren estar horas en una
computadora, viendo televisión, dormir o salir de fiesta con amigos, en vez que en sus ratos libres tomen un libro y
dedicarse por lo menos una hora leyéndolo o también informándose sobre grandes descubrimientos, tampoco quiero decidir
que siempre hay que estar en casa, porque también tenemos el derecho de salir y divertirnos como todo adolescente.

Hay más alumnos reprobados, pero eso a los adolescentes no les interesa tanto, porque ya no hay la misma autoridad
que tiempos antes se tenía. Pero ¿Quiénes son los culpables?; nosotros como alumnos siempre decimos que son los
maestros al igual que los padres, mientras que los maestros dicen que son papas y alumnos; pero, ¿Quién tiene la
razón?, en mi opinión siento que nosotros los jóvenes somos los culpables, ya que nosotros tenemos la edad suficiente
para no estar pidiendo ayuda de nuestros padres y que ellos estén tras nosotros como niños chiquitos diciendo si ya
hicimos nuestra tarea, los maestros nos enseñan y nos brindan sus grandes conocimientos, aunque hay maestros que ni
deberían de ser maestros, porque en vez de enseñarnos no están afectando no solo a nosotros sino a las diferentes
generaciones que pronto vendrán.

Antes no había internet ni computadora, y cuando se tenía que hacer alguna investigación las personas recurrían a la
biblioteca municipal e inclusive algunos estudiantes, tenían en su casa su librero con cientos de libros, y al parecer eso
no les molestaba, al igual que tenían el ámbito de estudio que hoy en día la mayor parte se ha perdido. Pero a partir de
los noventa si no me equivoco la tecnología avanzó, para así en el año dos mil solo buscaba la palabra que se les pedía y
solita la máquina lo encontraba y solo era cosa de que copiáramos. No lo niego yo también lo hecho, el copiar y pegar
creo que todos lo hemos hecho, pero también eso es malo, porque nunca nos damos cuenta si la información esta correcta,
por eso es recomendable buscar en diferentes fuentes hasta estar cien por ciento seguros sobre la información hallada.

Por otra parte la delincuencia es uno de los principales problemas que nosotros como profesionales enfrentaremos,
cada año esto aumenta y eso sucede en algunos casos por la economía que diferentes adolescentes viven, prefieren ir
a lo fácil y así tener una mejor vida. Pero ya viéndolo seriamente esto es algo que seguirá. Las autoridades siempre
 dicen que acabaran con esto, pero vamos después de dos siglos en nuestro país se sigue viviendo y aún siguen diciendo
que nosotros somos el futuro del mañana.

Como conclusión probablemente si haya jóvenes emprendedores en la sociedad aprovechando como base la tecnología
para mayor facilidad de investigación y que usaran probablemente este medio para darla a conocer. Pero existen
personas que hoy en día abusan de la tecnología y en vez de innovar, reescriben ideas ya expuestas sin alguna innovación
previa o investigación extra ya que la información se obtiene fácilmente y no indagan sobre un futuro proyecto.
