S-O Strategy

S1-O1: Assuming that Starbucks doesn't


want its brand image to be tarnished, they
will see to it that their specialty drinks will
be at par with their existing drinks offered.
In adddition, since it is a special drink, a
special offer/packaging in highlight of their
logo or branding would be great as well.

S2-O2: Every place has their own


issue/action that they are keen on fighting
and promoting. For example, a drink
inspired by the empowerment of women or
a combo of sandwhich and drink inspired
by the lgbtq+ community. Taking
advantage of their worldwide presence, a
diverse and a number of corporate social
responsibilty can be used as an inspiration
to create various drinks.
S1-S2-O1-O2: By combining the
Starbucks' excellent brand image and
worldwide presence, investing and
developing specialty drinks and
incorporating social responsibility in their
products can inrease their sales worldwide.
Their worldwide presence allows them to
offer the specified products with their
known quality to a larger quantity.

S-T Strategy

S1-T1: With the country still trying to find


the best way to live with Covid, every
business is doing its best also to cope up.
With the branding of Starbucks as a cozy
and light atmospheric place to chill at, by
doing proper hygiene, following the
protocols, and abiding by the rules,
Consumers are slowly going back to the
physical stores to dine and study at as well
as to do business.
S2-T2: Although spread worldwide, it's
price are the same. This lowers their
chances of being picked as a choice rather
than fo their alternatives. Offering lower
prices to low-income generating countries
could help them in this situations.

S1-S2-T1-T2: Combining all their threats


and trying to overcome it by their strengths,
Starbucks should focus more on spending
and investing to almost Covid 19 free
countries with a higher-income generation.

W1-O1: To address their high price-point,


since a specialty drink will be offered, a
discount or a promo can take place. This may
come in a form of a limited cup product of
theirs that are solely made and can only be
bought through the purchase of the specialty
drinks.

W2-O2: In terms of diversification, Starbucks


could start creating new products in relation to
developing their corporate social
responsibilty. This may serve as their trial an
error period to see what products would be
liked by their customers and are bought more
than the others, and include it in their daily
menu.
W1-W2-O1-O2: Adding all weaknesses and
solving the through the opportunities given,
having a wider and diversified range of
consumers, Starbucks would be allowed to
create a more diversified product opportunity
to sell with a lot more promo combos available
waiting to be offered.

W-T Strategy

W1-T1: Even before the pandemic, Starbucks


was already known to have a higher price-
point than of its competitors. With the Covid
19 happening, a lot would be more cautious of
spending their money to more expensive
products knowing that it has a cheaper
alternative.
W2-T2: Considering the product
diversification of the said company, many
stores out there offer a lot more which allows
the consumers to pick their stores more
conviniently. Some would prefer to go to a
store which has all of something the
consumer wants than of a premium store with
fewer options.

W1-W2-T1-T2: In consideration of their


weaknesses, as well as their threats,
Starbucks should recalculate and re-assess
on product offers and price ranges. Studying
what they can do in order to adjust and adapt
at the same time with the consumer needs
and wants can help them think of how to offer
