B. 1. Shabab felt that Hussain’s style of painting was not suitable for
hoardings but allowed
him to paint the backgrounds of his hoardings. However, Hussain
learned to work hard,
fast, without complaining. Within the three months that he assisted
Shabab, he learned
to paint large hoardings and posters on his own.
2. Hussain trained himself to constantly see the rest of the painting
in the distance with
one eye and his hand to adjust the size according to the area of the
hoarding. He didn’t
have to change, repaint or correct his original drawing. His
experience had taught him to
paint any surface without difficulty and hesitation.

Dear Sir/Ma’am
Sub: Complaint regarding streetlights not working in the
neighbourhood
I am writing this letter to draw your attention to the problems faced
by the residents of
our neighbourhood due to streetlights that have not been working
for the past two weeks.
Despite repeated complaints, no action has been taken so far.
The main road leading to our area is plunged into darkness after
sunset. Residents, especially
the elderly and children, find it very difficult to reach their homes.
There were two major
accidents last week which have caused serious injuries to the victims.
Residents are also
concerned as there have been incidents of chain-snatching too.
The streetlights need to be fixed immediately so that the residents
do not have to suffer any
longer. I hope that you take necessary action before the situation
worsens.
Thanking you.
Yours faithfully,
Satyam
