Answer the following questions succinctly after reading the article of your choice based on your
assigned topic.

In this study, the researchers encompass the value and advantage of the internet within the usage
for qualitative research in different fields of study. These researchers focus and seeking on more
conversational and interactive online research with such participants in a particular study. The
Internet is a powerhouse of information that can help researchers for further qualitative research
since it is the main medium that can be easily accessed anywhere by anyone.

Moreover, the study hypothesizes that there are different reactions or impacts of the online
interview using the different interview setups before, during, and after interviews. It claims that
online interviews with the usage of the internet will be doable and effective, not only in
qualitative study or research but also in diverse disciplines rather than having face-off interviews.

In terms of participants, respondents can express themselves straightforwardly. They are vocal in
terms of what they feel and what they think. The conversation flow can be easily handled since
we can manage to modify our thoughts before we reply or respond. There is openness and an
empathic approach from one person to another. However, there should be a short conversation
before the actual interview starts to form a bond between the researcher and the respondent.
Methods may depend on how the interviewer will conduct the interview wherein the goal is to
have approachable respondents and active participants on a specific topic, which can gather
pieces of information that will support the research or study and make it more feasible and
practical.

Furthermore, there is a correlation between the research study and the application of
psychology. We can imagine that the clients are those informants or respondents, and the
counselor is the interviewer. By that means, we, as counselors or interviewers should manage the
conversation flow clearly and carefully as the attainment of gathering all the necessary
information from the client or respondents. The document will be sufficient to have an in-depth
understanding of when it comes to certain discourses.

As a future Psychologist, I learned from the given journal/article that we are accountable and
responsible for our study, its scope, its participants, and delimitations as well. We should be
careful about how we convey our thoughts and ideas to our clients since it will create an impact
that will impart from their current or present situations and events to the mere future. Be an
empathic consultant and always dedicate ourselves to our beloved profession.
