Diabetes Mellitus (DM) TANGGAL :


Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease or disorder with multiple etiologies characterized by high blood glucose
levels accompanied by impaired carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism as a result of insulin function insufficiency.

How to Know Diabetes Mellitus Early?


 Have the main symptom and or some additional symptoms
 Have risk factors for Diabetes Mellitus
 Examination of blood sugar levels shows the following results:
Examination Sample Result
Vein Plasma ≥ 200
Temporary glucose level (mg/dl)
Capillary Blood ≥ 200
Vein Plasma ≥ 126
Fasting blood glucose level (mg/dl)
Capillary Blood ≥ 100
Noted:
 Vein Plasma: Blood drawn from a larger, deeper vein (usually taken by injection into the arm)
 Capillary Blood: Blood drawn from a finer vein (usually with a puncture at the tip of the finger)
