2. Compare the features of thin skin from thick skin.

-Thick skin has all five strata and is found in areas subject to pressure and or friction, such as the palm of
the hands, the soles of the feet, and the fingertips.

-Thin skin lacks the stratum lucidum and covers the rest of the body. The terms thick skin and thin skin
only refer to the number of epidermal strata and not to the overall thickness of the skin, which is
determined by the dermis

3. Discuss the abnormality in skin structure.

- It is important for us to know the difference between normal and abnormal skin. Cold sores is an
example of skin abnormalities. It is an infection on the lips, mouth, and gums. It is a tiny fluid filled
painful blisters that are often group together like patches. Acne is also a skin condition that is common
especially to teenagers. Bacteria will trigger breakouts when the hair follicles under the skin become
clogged with oil. To prevent these skin conditions, we should have good hygiene and avoid direct
contact with people who have infection or skin disease.

wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual
hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. Having these side effects
depends on the person meanwhile Intake of vitamin D can help you treat such skin problems. It
can also reduce skin rashes. Vitamin D is also beneficial for treating eczema which is also a skin
condition. It is generally noticed that people with eczema have low vitamin D levels.
