Albert Einstein…

You- for sure- have already heard about Albert Einstein

and how smart he was and his achievements in branches of
science. But do you know how was Albert’s life actually? How
were his childhood, behaviors, and dreams? You’ll, hopefully,
know all of that and more in this essay…
On March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Germany Albert Einstein made
his entry to this world. He was a peace-loving, shy, and a public
hater kid. Albert liked staying by himself and daydreaming, and
he enjoyed playing with blocks and building houses out of
playing cards. He was also a very quiet kid that his parents
worried about him. They even took him to doctors!!
When Albert was a year old his family moved from Ulm
into Munich, and there Maja, his sister, was born. Albert
expected his sister to be a game just like the other game he
had, but Maja had no wheels so he asked his parents
disappointedly "where are its wheels?". By the time Albert and
his sister became best friends, they loved to take long walks
and hikes. Albert used to think while hiking, he would just lie on
the grass, look at the far sky and think about what is farther
than it…the space...
It was just as if Albert was born to think. His dad and
uncles helped guiding his thinking. on the other hand, his sister
and cousins encouraged his thinking. He found books to help
him devise math and science problems. And we can't forget his
mother, who introduced him to music, which engaged his mind
in a way that the books could not. Some kids these days dream
to be mechanics or veterinarians, it was the same with Albert…
he wanted to be a thinker…
Albert loved elementary school. The teachers were kind
and patient and tried to answer all his questions. But
everything changed when he became 10 years old, specifically
when he started high school.
Once, when Albert's dad asked the school principal what
profession should his son consider, the principal reply was so
painful, he said: “It doesn't matter, Albert will never make a
success of himself at anything”
The German high schools were so strict. All the students
had to wear uniforms, and they had to march like soldiers from
a class to another! In the classes, everyone had to sit straight all
the time! Teachers yelled out orders, and students jumped to
attention! Even questions weren't allowed! Albert was
expected to read and memorize and not think, and that
stunned Albert, it just wasn’t his style.
Albert was getting punished because of asking a lot of
questions! Albert's family moved to Italy and left him in
Germany so he can finish school. Albert was angry and lonely
and hated school so much. He felt devastated...

When Albert became 15, He got expelled…

getting kicked out of school, even though it was a school
he hated, was so painful for Albert. He ended up following his
family to Italy. Italy was much different from Germany. Albert
loved Italy, Italians were so friendly, civilized, and open-
minded. For the next 2 years, Albert visited museums and went
to concerts.
Albert started studying about other scientists, and that
pushed him even more. In Italy he had time to write his
thoughts and answer his questions. Now he is a real scientist.
he even published his first scientific journal in a magazine while
he was a teenager!
Albert decided to learn physics and be a physicist, but he
should've finished high school first to do that. He also decided
that the MOST important thing to him is the freedom to think
and explore his new ideas.
Albert reentered high school in Switzerland. His new
school wasn’t like the German school. At the Swiss school, the
students are supposed to ask questions! Albert finished high
school and he decided to go to college in the same country.
He entered a college there, but sadly his family members
were going through hard times. His uncle provided him with a
little amount of money. He lived in a dark room, lonely, and
barely ate. He went to school in the same clothes every time.
Albert graduated from the school in 1900. Albert wanted
to Become a Physics teacher, but he couldn't find a teaching
job. his uncle stopped sending him money. Albert's clothes
were old, his meals were few, and his health suffered. Albert
Ended up taking a job with a patent office. it wasn't what he
wanted, but it was still a job.
Albert's Father died. Albert was devastated, but
surprisingly his job at the patent office became better than
Albert could ever had imagined. Albert was so good at his job
that each day he completed his work long before the time of
the job was done. with all that time to think, Albert ended up
writing and publishing more scientific papers. in one year, he
published 5 groundbreaking papers on a very famous journal
About Physics. so in some way, that job that he didn’t want
turned out to be better than what he wanted originally.
In 1903, Albert married a girl called Mileva the following
year they gave their son. Albert had the time to enjoy music,
long dinners and long walks with his family. Albert had
wonderful years with his job and many of the greatest scientific
achievements of the 20th century: electronics, atomic bombs,
space travel all suggested by Einstein in the papers published
while he was working in the office
In 1909, the University of Zurich convinced Albert to leave
the office and work with them; Albert now would actually be
paid to teach and study physics. Life was even more wonderful
for him!
All Albert's theories were startling and it proved so much
old theories wrong, at the same time he was a very simple
man! He even used money as a book mark, and sometimes he’d
lose the books.
In 1913, a famous university had offered Albert Einstein
more money than he ever made before, and all he had to do
was to sit there and think and he could teach whenever he
wants. but the problem was that the University was in Berlin…
Even though it had been like 20 years from the time he got
expelled from that school, but even his wife Mileva didn't like
berlin too and all the people there. Mileva was also jealous of
Albert; she was a brilliant scientist but the world only cared for
Albert. He had to make a decision. Albert needed brilliant
people around him to help him keep thinking; therefore, He
ended up going to Berlin…leaving his wife and two children.

"When I was young, all I wanted and expected from life

was to sit quietly in some corner doing my work without the
public paying attention to me," said Einstein after being
honored at a social function. "And now see what has become of
me…”
After a life full of its happy moments and sad moments…
after an awful experience with WWI and WWII… After Leaving
his fingerprints on Branches of Science… In April 18, 1955, at
the age of 76…Albert Rests in peace and dies after a blood
vessel bursts near his heart.
when asked for doing a surgery before his death, Albert refused
and said:
“I want to go when I want to go. It is tasteless to prolong life
artificially. I have done my share; it is time to go. I will do it
elegantly.”
