ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

Name of the Activity : PENTAKASI FOR BRIGADA ESKWELA 2021

Introduction
Brigada Eskwela champions the spirit of volunteerism in DepEd. It is not only DepEd program,
but also that of education stakeholders. DepEd Order No. 48, s. 2021 presents the guidelines on the
implementation of Brigada Eskwela 2021 from August 3 to September 30, 2021 with focus on
collaboration and strengthening partnership engagements that complements DepEd efforts to
implement the BE-LCP and to ensure the delivery of basic education notwithstanding the COVID-19
pandemic. One of the activities included in Brigada Eskwela were physical cleaning and disinfection
adhering to the strict implementation of safety protocols and precautionary measures consistent with
IATF health protocols, DOH protection protocols, local quarantine rules and all other relevant
protocols provided by DepEd issuances.
With these, Pandapan Integrated School conducted PENTAKASI activity where and was
participated by various groups of educational stakeholders such as teachers, parents and from
private and government sectors, thus, leading to its successful implementation. All stakeholders were
assigned various tasks such as painting, repairing, replanting, disinfecting and physical cleaning to
beautify and clean the school. The activity demonstrates how parents/guardians/stakeholders
support the school activities.

Objectives
1. To strengthen the commitment of the Department of Education (DepEd) and stakeholders
for the continued delivery of quality education despite the pandemic.
2. To encourage volunteerism and public-private partnership between the school and the
community.

Accomplishments
1. The Program Implementation Committee held numerous meetings in preparation for
Brigada Eskwela - PENTAKASI, which started from August 11-27, 2021. The
Implementation Committee, led by Ms. Jean Sarah Tambis, was given various tasks that
includes creating a work schedule and scope of work, managing brigades like those for
painting, cleaning, repairing, and brigadahan sa classroom, collecting daily attendance,
documenting the activity, and printing certificates.

3. The activity started from August 11, 2021 to August 27, 2021. The activity mobilizes and
brings together hundreds of parents, alumni, civic groups, local businesses, non-
government organizations, teachers, students, LGU, barangay officials and individuals
who volunteer their time and skills to do classroom repairs, maintenance work, and clean-
up of the school. There were 857 parents/guardians and various stakeholders from private
sector and LGU participated in the said activity. The said activity/program helps the school
in restoring the cleanliness of the surroundings and classrooms.
4. Each volunteer received a certificate for their active participation as volunteer during the
BE - PENTAKASI activity.

Documentation

The schedule and designated teachers in charge for PENTAKASI from August to September 2021 were shown
in the MOVs above. The members of the Implementation Committee were given various tasks including
documentation, printing certificates for volunteers and attendance.

Parents and volunteers were assigned to the different brigades such as painting, cleaning, repairing and brigadahan sa
classroom to help the school in restoring the cleanliness of the surroundings and classrooms.
