I am happy to write this recommendation letter favor Mr. XXXXXXXXXXXXXX who was a
student in under graduating program in Hydraulic and water resources engineering at Haramaya
Institute of Technology, Haramaya University, Haramaya, Ethiopia. I have known him for more
than two years I give him a different courses as well as being his main advisor for his Bachelor
Thesis. I rate him as highly capable Student with all necessary attribute to make him qualify for
higher student and good profession in Hydraulic Engineering.

In addition, he is a person who values the quality of the outcomes of the duty he assigned for and
preplanned work. He has the virtue and moral to accomplish and bear any responsibility in any
respect in general and in conducting scientific research at his level. Above all, what surprised me
about this man is ability to develop intelligent plans with the skills to implement them, and his
curiosity to fully understand everything he can across during his stay in this university. Besides
the manner in which he prepares himself for any activities including his lesson and address
deepest idea during his thesis for BSc degree are among his amazing character. This unique
ability and natural talented along with hard working nature has made him to be forefront list
among his fellow students of his batch.

Asa teacher I have found Mr. XXXXXXXXXX to be highly committed brilliant with a
methodological approach in his work and take his responsibilities very seriously. He has
remarkable high command in computer skill and professional software’s I strongly
recommended him for any professional in Hydraulic Engineering with planning, design,
construction and operational facilities related with utilization of water resources such as
Irrigation, Water Supply, Hydropower, Urban drainage, Dam and Bridge structure,
Environmental Engineering, Water Resource Management, other office and site work and for
