Letter of Motivation
MSc Lasers and Photonics
First and foremost, I am grateful for the chance to pursue an MSc Laser and Photonics through the
Ruhr-Universität Bochum taught Master's program. Laser and Photonics has always piqued my
attention, and I've always wanted to learn more about it. From the start of my Teen age, I was very
fond of Lasers based equipment’s such as Laser Toys and this interest of mine is taking me to
Laser and Photonics field of studies and one most important reason is that I belong from a
developing country where there are very limited resources of Laser and Photonics, this education
will help me a lot to do contributions for my country in Laser and Photonics. This opportunity
piqued my interest because this program was enlisted in it, and there was no way I could pass it
up as it was relevant to my previous degree. I'm anxious to gain Laser and Photonics skills and
hone my abilities, and this program appears to be the ideal fit for me. I believe it will improve my
abilities and help me achieve my goals.
My Experience
In the year 2021, I graduated from the Mechatronics Engineering program. I was an excellent
student throughout my academic years of graduation, and I received good grades at the end of my
degree as a result of my continued hard work. I worked on my first project at the bachelor's level
and competed in a university end-of-semester project competition. "Design and Fabrication of
Autonomous Control Peanut Shelling Machine" was the title of my final year project as an
undergraduate. I've always been good at knowledge of Energy Generation Devices such as
Inverters and Controllers like PIC and ARM and Sensors to Control these Devices. I have also
completed many different projects related to Power Generation at the end of each semester which
includes Automobile Prototyping, Laser Ignition System, Laser Engraver using Arduino, Laser
Propulsion and many more. As the team leader of my undergrad final year project, I learned a lot
about Laser and Photonics and also implemented it in my final year project. All of this was the
result of the many societies in which I participated and developed all of these talents. I was brave
enough to accept an internship offer from G AND CO INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND
SERVICES PAKISTAN, where I worked on the mechanical and electronic control system of a
power generators. I realized that to succeed in life, you must be tough and dedicated, so I've always
strived to perform with consciousness as well as tremendous intent.

information, equipment, and environments.
➢ Effectively manipulate enterprise operations and challenge my abilities and continue to
strengthen holistically, consisting of the personal and expert capabilities necessary to adapt to
our changing societal, technological, and international requirements.
➢ Describe or explain the concept, structure, and operation of gas lasers, semiconductor lasers,
and solid-state lasers, and be able to safely operate, test, measure, and align, where appropriate,
these lasers using optical test equipment and procedures.
➢ Properly clean and install optical components using proper optical component handling,
cleaning, and installation methods.
➢ Use computer-based tools to effectively complete technical tasks.
➢ Effectively communicate technical ideas, procedures, and results with others in written, oral,
and graphical formats.
➢ Recognize the need to maintain currency in modern photonics and electronics applications,
new products, and systems
➢ Graduates of the Laser and Photonics are expected to meet the challenges for modern
professional practice; be in a position to adapt and solve the increasing number of complex
issues faced with the aid of industry; design, develop, test and analyze, configure, test,
measure, troubleshoot, and assist in the design of analog, digital, and microcontroller circuits
and systems and Engineering knowledge in addition to developing the intellectual skills
essential for prosperity and success in my career.
