crucial parts of Microsoft Word Window 2019. It is located at the top left corner of the screen, right above the file tab. It contains the commands that you use the most frequently. By default, it includes the save, undo, and redo commands.
RIBBON – is a set of toolbars at the top of the
window in Office programs designed to help you quickly find the commands that you need to complete a task.
TITLE BAR – it lies next to the Quick Access
Toolbar. It displays the title of the currently open document or application. It is present on almost all windows displayed on your computer.
COMMAND GROUP – they organize related
commands; each group name appears below the group on the Ribbon. For example, a group of commands related to fonts or group of commands related to alignment, etc.
SCROLL BAR – a bar that appears on the side or
bottom of a window to control which part of a list or document is currently in the window‘s frame. The scroll bar makes it easy to move to any part of a file.
DOCUMENT AREA – this is the blank section of a
Word processor or other document program that allows the user to create content. DOCUMENT VIEW – this view lets you see the document as it appears when printed. This view also shows margins, page breaks, and also header and footer information.
RULER – word has two rulers: one horizontal and one
vertical. The horizontal ruler, which appears just below the Ribbon, is used to set margins and tab stops. The vertical ruler, which can be found on the left edge of the Word window, is used to determine the vertical position of elements on the page.
ZOOM CONTROL – consists of a slider that you can
slide left or right to zoom in or out; you can increase or decrease the zoom factor by clicking the + buttons. It allows you to get a better look at your text.
PAGE AND WORD COUNT – the word count feature
