INTRODUCTION
WHAT ARE
SCHOOL POLICIES?
Educational policies are rules that are
intended to help schools teach
students efficiently, fairly and safely as
per the regulatory norms, and the
Board to which the Institution is
affiliated. These terms determine how
students are taught, what they are
taught, how schools manage students
and its personnel.
SCHOOL
POLICIES
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attendance is highly observed in schools. Having
a lot of absences can cause academic failure.

Function
The purpose of the attendance policy is to encourage
regular and consistent attendance and punctuality in
school by all students. There is a high correlation
between good attendance, academic achievement
and successful every day work experience.
ANTI-BULLYING POLICY

Schools have to make bullying

Function
To ensure that all students learn in a
supportive, caring and safe
environment without fear of being
bullied.
DRESS CODE POLICY
Students have their own unique way of
dressing, but when it comes to school,
there are certain rules and restrictions.

Function
The purpose of a dress code is to provide
guidance to students and parents as to
appropriate attire for school and at any
school function.
CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
refers to programs, services, procedures
and structures that are intended to
prevent and respond to abuse, neglect,
exploitation, discrimination and violence

To ensure that the school takes every
measure to ensure every child is healthy
and safe
HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
Prevention and preparation for reducing
the risk of accidents and emergencies and
minimizing harms when they do happen.
Function
Health and safety policy requires the school
to assess risks and put in place
proportionate control measures. The policy
also requires it to record details of risk
assessments, the measures taken to reduce
these risks and expected outcomes.

developing their knowledge and skills and
achieve their true potential.
