ICT : A STORY OF A ICT WORKING STUDENTS

Chapter 1

INTRODUCTION

When working students have to measure out their time, they tend to be better planners as they

make sure they complete every task expected of them on deadline. They learn to weigh their priorities,

sometimes skipping fun activities to finish their responsibilities. The hardest working students will

ultimately be the most successful in life. Being a hard worker in school means completing assignments

on time, putting your maximum effort into every assignment, asking for extra help when you need it,

spending the time to study for tests and quizzes, and recognizing weaknesses and looking for ways to

improve. Taking on a part-time job while pursuing a degree is hard work, but the benefits are typically

greater than the amount of a paycheck. Students who work during their college careers may develop

better time-management skills than their counterparts because they have to apply it to their daily lives.

They earn money that can be used for fun or for tuition, while gaining experience in the workplace that

will be attractive to future employers after graduation.

businesses. If they're in college and majoring in subjects like creative writing, journalism,

communications or marketing, students can ask their professors about professional writing associations

and career websites they can join to network with other writers and learn about open writing jobs they

can apply for. Depending on their employer, students might also be able to gain college credits for work

they complete.
