I believe that HR management is the right career for me. Although I have not fully worked in
HR management, I’ve worked the beginning stages of some tasks and HR responsibilities. I have
sourced and recruited for an accounting agency. Three reasons I think I will be HR management
is the right career for me are:
1. I will be working with many types of professionals: HR professionals work closely with
people at every stage of their careers. I will also get to work with different industries.
Although HR possess similar tasks, as an HR professional I can work with the auto
industry, to non-profits, to a fortune 500 company.
2. I’ll also be one of the executives as the table that manages the challenges of operating an
effective business: HR is an evolving science and art. There are always new strategies,
technologies, and skills to learn and improve upon. HR professionals are the decision
makers when it comes to implementing new systems to effective run a business.
3. I will get to focus on the big picture: HR professionals participate in long-range planning,
with insider views on how the entire organization works. HR professionals assist the
CEO to ensure the vision of the organization comes to life.
