Magement performs an essential role in any business or organised activity,management is
composed of a team of managers who have responsibility to an organistin.
Planning involves determining overall company objectives and deciding how these goals
can best be achieved.Managrs evaluate alternative plants before choosing a specific course of
actionand then check to see that the chosen plan fits in to the objectives established at higher
organizatoinal levels.
Organizing is the process of pulting the plan in ti action.this involvea allocating
resources,especially human resources,so that the overall objectives can be attained.
Contolling the last management function,is the work of managers to evaluate how well
company objectives established in the planning phase and at how well the tasks assigned in
the directing phase are being complted.
Managers need interpersonal organizational,and technical skills in order to adequately and

The structure of most organizations is hierarchical or pyramidal,with one person or may be a
group of people at the top,and a growing number of people bellow hom at each successive
level.Some people in an organization ocuppy staf position in which they have no line
authority,and are integarated in to the chain of command,for example,there might be and
assistan to the accounting manager,who is number two in the accouting department.Since the
