DESCRIPTION
CRISTOL SP series are a group of widely used and cost effective non-staining and non
discoloring antioxidant for white/colored/transparent rubber products. They also find
application as stabilizers for synthetic elastomers, surfactants etc.

APPLICATIONS
Antioxidant for Rubber/Latex compounds:
CRISTOL-SP is a non-staining, non-discoloring, cost effective general purpose antioxidant for dry
.
rubber & latex compounds. Having excellent color stability, it finds wide application in white & light
colored latex and rubber applications such as flooring, sports goods, shoe soles, general mechanical
goods, carpet backing etc. CRISTOL SP is used as a stabilizer for Rubber and Plastics such as
Polypropylene, Polyethylene, High Impact Polystyrene,Adhesives, Oils and Plasticizers & Lubricants.
Stabilizer for Synthetic Elastomers:
CRISTOL-SP in synergy with other antioxidants is extensively used as a stabilizer in production of
synthetic elastomers such as Styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) and Poly butadiene rubber (PBR) as
well as lattices.
Surfactants:
CRISTOL-SP is used in the manufacture of Styrenated Phenol Ethoxylate.
CRISTOL-SP is a building block for the manufacture on nonionic surfactants, mainly used
for agrochemical formulations.

HANDLING & STORAGE

CRISTOL-SP does not require any specific precaution to be followed except normal Industrial
practices as followed for any rubber chemicals / additives. Refer SDS for more details.
