I learned a lot of knowledge from Writing 1. Firstly, I’ve learned about email,
postcards, how to filling in forms, how to give directions and giving and getting
advice. Next, especially, in this lesson I can learn a lot of new words and
sentences about many topics. In 'Writing 1' my favorite topic is probably unit 1, 2:
email. Especially, in this lesson I can learn a lot of new words and sentences and 2
type of emails formal and informal. I learned a lot of sentences like speak soon,
look forward to hearing from you, all the best. More than that, I've learned many
useful tips like use paragraphs to break up long pieces of text, it make my writing
easier to read.
How did you deal with the difficulties you encountered in Writing 1?
In the past, I didn’t like writing English because I didn't have enough vocabulary to
write. Sometime I made mistakes when I write English. And I have some trouble
with grammar, too. So I'm nervous when writing English. But for now, learn newer
knowledge I have become more confident in writing English. In writing 1, I can
learn a lot of new words and sentences about many topics. I learn more
vocabulary and so I feel more confident when I write.
That's email doesn't convey body language or tone of voice, and readers can skip
or skim crucial sections. So conveying my meaning can be very difficult. I also
wrote wrong the structure of the email.
To be didactic, we can divide an email in three main parts: greeting , Email Body,
Closing.
Sender. The email address of the person who sent the message appears here. ...
Recipient. If you are receiving the message, your email address probably won't
appear here. ...
Closing. ...
Signature. ...
The formal email is written for business or professional purposes with a specific
objective in mind. It uses simple language, that can be easy to read and interpret.
In formal email, we write full sentence, and try not to use contraction. We don’t
use slang or informal phrases. Use formal greetings such as “Dear”, “Hi” is ok if
you know the person you are writing to. Use formal endings such as” All the best,
kind regards or best regards.”
On the contrary, informal emails are written to friends and relative for personal
communication and uses a casual or an emotional tone.
In informal email, we use more contractions such as what’s up? Let’s go out

The reason I have chosen this video for several reason. First of all, I was interested
in its content. In this assignment code I know how to write a message to ask for
helping. Or Write an email to invite my friend and how to give the direction to the
address. Secondly, I learned a lot of knowledge from this assignment code. I can
learn a lot of new words and sentences and phrases.
What is your writing process? List certain general steps in the writing process you
went through to do your assignment.
I need to set up an outline for my messages and emails. I put a lot of questions
about Activities; Place of interest; Meal for the visitors. And about the email I
need to Tell them when to arrive; Tell them what to bring; Give the direction to
the place where the party will be held
What notices on grammar and vocabulary did you follow when writing the
assignment?
