the motherland. Spolarium shows political, social views, and sentiments of the Filipino artist, Juan Luna.
He use warm dark colors representing how bloody Philippines is during the Spanish rule.
-He use paint brush, paint and canvass to express his thought. Juan Luna uses painting to express his
sentiments about the Spanish through the use of colors and canvass. His painting not only showsthe
sttle and color he used, but brought the historical significance and relevance.

FILM Cinematography movies

Ex: Titanic Film stimulate experiences that communicate stories through the use of moving images.
These images are generally accompanied by sound and other sensory stimulations. The moving images
of a film are created by photographing actual scenes with a camera. Artists have always influenced other
artist. Some filmmakers even use a novel written by other artist to make a movie. In this case,
filmmakers makes use of their creativity by transforming imaginations formed through reading into
reality. This also changes the creativity of filmmakers, since they need to be flexible in order to achieve
an excellent work

create a connection with them. An artist allows the audience to experience the situations and physicality
portrayed on stage, since they share the same space, time, and air during the performance. Today, most
performance arts are about the current happenings in the world in which artists create stories to send a
message to the society.

POETRY PERFORMANACE Spoken Poetry

In this form of art, words are being used to create an art. It shows how words can be creative and
imaginative. These words allow an artist to see or visualize things and give a meaning of how one might
feel or understand a certain phenomenon. An artist uses words to express his deep emotions and share
his experiences. Some artists turn their ordinary experiences into fascinating tales with underlying story
lines and messages. They sometimes transform themselves into the character of the story by telling
their past experiences.

Architecture is the process of designing a building but architecture encompasses more than buildings. It
is the art of sheltering people both physically and spiritually. The basic formal elements of architecture
in this sense are space and mass. The process of organizing these elements into an ordered form is
called composition, and the principal means by which they are given expressive quality are scale, light,
texture and colour. Architects are the one who design all kind of buildings. A design is a plan, where an
architect needs to draw and visualize his desired kind of building. They are considering a lot of
circumstances before they draw the plan, the building’s function, type of activities that will be done in
that building, how many people are going to use the building and many more. This provides identity to
the place such as the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa.

DANCE Folk dance

It shoes different movement of the body, and some movements are related or base to the culture of
the group or place. For example, dancing as rituals, there are symbolism in every movement that
portrays the quality and the life of the people. It shows uniqueness as it is not changing and based on
the culture and ritual or depends on the beliefs of the people. It is very different from other modern
dances since this kind of dance shows the life of the people using different movements.

texts will be able to make their readers feel the emotion. It is expressed with right choice of words and

Most of the time writers or authors express their true self through writing using their own style and
techniques. It is their way to communicate to present their experiences, ideas, and values and culture in
order that their readers can learn more about these things and share their inner thoughts.

an art concerned almost exclusively with live performances in which the action is precisely planned to
create a coherent and significant sense of drama. Theatre or theater uses live performers, called actors
or actresses, to present the experience of a real or imagined event to a live audience in a specific place.
The performers may communicate this experience to the audience through combinations of gesture,
speech, song, music, and dance. They also often use their voices and body to express actions. Theatre
also uses visual aspect such as costumes, lighting, and some form of scenic background, as well as
nonvisual aspect such as sound.

- In theatre, performers must understand the script and deliver it excitingly and appropriately. The
blocking, costume designs, set designs and other aspects of the show should blend together to make the
production success.

Theatres are most commonly known for its art in acting. An artist uses its acting skills to perform an art
naturally and realistically to communicate or express the thoughts and feelings of the character in that
particular situation. An actor makes the expression of these thoughts to present the story being told.
