A large distribution company completed and analyzed a market survey for ideas to
encourage more Jamaicans to decorate their households during the Festive Season. The
company has commissioned you to mass produce Christmas wreaths to meet the
anticipated demand.

 You are required to design and make a prototype of a Christmas wreath that: - Reflect the
colors/ornaments typical of the festive season

 Additionally you are required to prepare an attractive brochure outlining the steps that
should be adhered to when making a Christmas wreath along with the uses of Christmas
wreaths.

TIME ORDER OF WORK- METHOD/OVEN MANAGEMENT

GENERAL PREPARATION

Collect materials and equipment’s needed to make the Christmas wreath

9:00-9:30
and the brochure, and the clean the work area.

9:30-10:00 Make a Christmas wreath

Get the garland and materials collected to begin work on the Christmas

wreath.

Spray four line on the garland with the white spray paint spacing them

equally to put on the fake snow on the garland.

After spraying the garland, spray the three pine cone with the white spray

paint and set it aside. Put the hooks on the garland then place the

10:00-10:30 ornaments on carefully and place the two jingle on it.

Continuing making the Christmas wreath

Tie the gold ribbon on the garland and place the white bow at the top.
After adding on all the ornaments and jingle bell, sprinkle the fake snow
on the pinecones then placed it on the garland. Then place the fake snow
10:30-11:00 on the garland that are not cover with paint.

Make a brochure

11:00- 11:30 Start typing up the brochure on the laptop then print it using the printer.

Clean work area / notify examiner

Clean up the work area using a mop and broom when finish notify the
examiner
