Dear Judge,

Greetings!!!

This pertains to every execution/implementation of a warrant of arrest that has been

issued or was issued by the Honorable Judge that has no indicated order to use at least
one body-worn camera and one alternative recording device or a minimum of two
devices, or such number as may be necessary to capture and record the relevant
incidents during its execution, search warrants and warrantless arrests to be made by
the CIDG Romblon PFU operatives.

Please be informed that this office has not yet received the standard or the prescribed
Body Worn Cameras to be issued by the higher headquarters. Thus, the same is not
presently available at this time. However, alternative recording devices are available
which can be used during the implementation of the said warrants. The cellular phone
models that we have been using during all police operations are Samsung Galaxy A51,
Oppo Reno 6Z, and Vivo V20 5G. Those have specifications that conform with the rules
on the use of body-worn cameras in the execution of the warrants of arrest, search
warrants, and warrantless arrests (Rule 2 Section 1&3 under A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC)
operated by designated personnel that will execute an individual affidavit of
responsibility, authenticity, and integrity of the recordings.

Hereunder are the specifications and features of the abovementioned cellular phones
as follows:

In this regard, the undersigned OIC, Provincial Officer, respectfully request to give us
authority to use the abovementioned alternative recording devices and humbly request
that this letter be use as a basis/reference without further filing an ex parte motion to
that Honorable Court, especially in the execution of a warrant of arrest that has no
indicated order to use the same and whenever there is a need for immediate police
action, like if the accused to be arrested has the propensity to move quickly out/escape
from the place where he has been sighted or was seen.
