ALTERNATIVE RECORDING DEVICE
FOR BUY-BUST OPERATION

EX-PARTE MOTION

1. This station will conduct Anti-Illegal Drugs Operation (Buy-Bust) against alias
Tangkad resident of Barangay Palanan, Nasugbu, Batangas.
2. Recently, the Supreme Court issued a resolution mandating the use of body-
worn cameras in every law enforcement operation;
3. However, this station has not yet received any body-worn cameras from the
Philippine National Police intended to be use in the said law enforcement
operation as of this time and date; and
4. In order to comply in the aforesaid rules, this station respectfully request in your
honorable court to use the following cellular phone as an alternative recording
device (ARD) with the following specifications;

Device 1: Oppo F11 Pro


Video Resolution: 1080p
Frame Rate: 30fps
Audio: Built-in
Data and Time Stamping: Built-in with nightmode
GPS: Built-in
Battery Life: 4000mah (capable for 8 hours continuous recording with attached
powerbank)
Storage: 128GB and 6GB RAM

Device 2: Huawei Y9S


Video Resolution: 1080p
Frame Rate: 30fps
Audio: Built-in
Data and Time Stamping: Built-in with nightmode
GPS: Built-in
Battery Life: 4000mah (capable for 8 hours continuous recording with attached
powerbank)
Storage: 128GB and 6GB RAM

PRAYER
WHEREFORE, premises considered the undersigned respectfully prayed to this
Honorable Court to issue an Order allowing the Intelligence Unit of Nasugbu Municipal
Police Station to use at least two (2) alternative recording device necessary to capture
and record the relevant incidents during the execution of the abovesaid operations.

Other relief just and equitable is likewise prayed for.
