The work under the all sections shall comply with the latest Edition of the
applicable standards and codes of the following:

DEFINITION
Store keeper:
Shall be responsible in the overall supervision of activities connected with
receiving, segregation, storage, preservation and maintenance, identification,
safekeeping, inventory and issuance. Shall be responsible for the actual
receiving of delivered material with QC inspector, Physical Inspection and
quantity check. Receives/reviews and list all records and documents relating to
materials, initiates segregation and marking requires for items identification.
SITE QC INSPECTOR:
The implementation of this procedure is the responsibility of site engineers.
The QC Inspectors are to monitor and verify that this procedure is strictly
implemented.
Upon the receipt of the materials/equipment on site, the site engineer have to
arrange and ensure that the materials are handled and stored per the following:
Work specifications.
Manufacturer recommendations.
Saudi Aramco Standards.
The site engineer and the QC Inspector have to conduct material inspection on
the materials/equipment delivered to the site. Non-conforming materials are
stored separately from acceptable materials.
The site engineer stores the acceptable materials to the designated area &
materials release for installation. The QC Inspector recommends the
disposition for the nonconforming materials/equipment. The Non-conformance
report will be forwarded to the Procurement Manager for corrective action.
The site engineer shall ensure that proper handling, storage and preservation
are strictly implemented to avoid damage and deterioration of the material
while in the material lay down yard.
Storage areas shall be provided to ensure protection, safety and security.
Products are protected and packed in accordance with relevant specification
and or client requirements.
The site engineer shall also be responsible for the implementation of this
procedure for the materials/equipment installed in the work site. He shall
arrange for the necessary protection to prevent damage and deterioration to
the material/ equipment until accepted by SAUDI ARAMCO.
Materials shall not be moved from the storage area to the work area, or
permanent location until the receiving inspection is completed. However,
ducting shall be delivered to near individual buildings and properly protected
& preserved.
DUCT ACCESSORIES:
Deliver all duct accessories as per tag numbers and IFC drawings in the
laydown yard.
Carefully handle the duct accessories to avoid damage and malfunctioning.
Do not install damaged duct accessories, replace/rectify and return damaged duct
accessories as applicable to manufacturer.
Avoid crushing and prevent dirt and debris from entering and settling on duct
accessories.
Where possible, store and protect from the atmosphere and construction worker
traffic.
All duct accessories shall be stored and protected from the atmosphere
All units stored above grade and enclose with water proof wrapping.
The materials shall be inspected and shipped to site location as and when
required.
DUCTING, INSULATION AND SUPPORTS:
Deliver all ducting, insulation, and supporting materials as per IFC drawings to
laydown yard or near the buildings, as the case may be(ducting).
Carefully handle the duct to avoid damage to fabricated duct and its finish.
Do not install damaged duct, replace/rectify and return damaged duct and
supports as applicable to manufacturer.
Avoid crushing and prevent dirt and debris from entering and settling on duct and
supports.
Store and protect all the material from the atmosphere and construction worker traffic.
Stored duct outside yard, take the same precaution and store above grade and enclose
with water proof wrapping.
Duct insulation material must be store in clean area with water proof wrapping.
The materials shall be inspected and shipped to site location as and when required.
