Kitchen Rules and Regulations

 The following rules are nonnegotiable


 Follow all safety and sanitation rules and
regulations by the state.
 Put away accessories.
 Bind long hair into a ponytail.
 Use an apron and hairnet.
 Wash your hands before working.
 Work carefully with knives.
 Used crockery: Wash, dry. Put into cup board.
 Clean your working place.
 Stay on task in the class room and your
assigned station in the kitchen.
 Please do not sit on the desk top or the kitchen
counters because these surfaces are for dinning
and food preparation.
 Wait for your teachers instructions and listen.
 Follow the recipe and ask for help if you don’t
understand.s
 YOU MUST BE IN FULL UNIFORM IN THE
KITCHEN AT ALL TIMES which includes the
following: Chef’s jacket, hat, long pants, and a
pair of closed toes shoes. NO OPEN TOE SHOES,
SANDALS, FLIPFLOPS OR SLIDES WILL BE
ALLOWED IN THE KITCHEN ANYTIME.
