1.  Introduce students to the concept of the American Dream and begin to
question its relevance and authenticity in the 21st century world.
2. Review Capitalism and its function in our society; students should begin to
identify characteristics, commentary and critiques of Capitalism.
3. Ask the student to take a side regarding American
Materialism/Exceptionalism.
