ACADEMIC DECATHLON

1. Academic Decathlon is a ten-event scholastic competition that includes: languages,

mathematics, science, history, Catholic faith, arts, and technical and vocational skills.
2. There will be two divisions: junior high school and senior high school. Thus, each family will form
two teams who will represent their respective families into the decathlon.
3. Each team will be composed of 20 members across grade levels. For junior high school, there
must be 5 representatives per grade level. For senior high school, on the other hand, there must
be 10 representatives per grade level.
4. Each team will compete to the following scholastic competition:

5. The goal is to get the highest cumulative score to get the championship title.

Spelling Bee
The ultimate goal of this spelling activity is in consonance with the English learning domain –
Reading and Writing – using phonic, semantic, and morphemic knowledge. This activity also aims to
promote literacy by providing Rafaelians with positive goal to work toward.
