1. What are the obligatory parts of the front matter?

The front matter must include cover pages remarks abstract prephase table of contents and
list (include symbols and abbreviations figures tables)

2. What information must be presented on the cover page?

Cover page includes

Title (that must be short informative includes some keywords and most important titles in the
marketing of work).

Author

Affiliation (address postal or email)

Date

3. How do the informative and indicative abstracts differ from each other?

Informative:

Informative is typical one in articles and reports

It includes 100 to 200 words

It gives briefly information about the results

It represents the structure (indicates the research subject if not mentioned already in the title)

Indicative:

It is typically longer than informative

It does not give precise information about research

It is descriptive research is described in the present tense

4. What is the purpose of the methods part?

Method parts include the description of theory, used equipment’s, experimental data etc.

It can contain several chapters or sections.


5. What is the most important part of the report and why?

The most important part of report writing is the interpretation of results and evaluation of the
meaning of them.

6. Why and how to use figures and tables in the result part?

Results are usually presented with figures and tables which have to be explained also in the
text properly and ideas is to make result as easy to understand. It is not good to put tables
without any explanation. On the other hand tables and figures must have some contents to
explain them.

7. What is the structure of the conclusions part?

Conclusion must contain summary of most valuable results and some words about
importance of results it must include final Conclusion and at the end they give some
recommendation that may be used.

8. What is the purpose and content of list of references?

References must include the number or names as label typically reference information
contain

9. For what purpose you can use appendices?

Appendices for supporting material it includes derivation of equations in details equipment
