Utterson and Enfield were walking and they saw a strange door, which remembered Enfield

about something he saw one day, when a man trampled on a little girl, and she started crying
because of the pain.

The man had to give a hundred pounds to the girl’s family so no one knows what had
happened. The check had Mr. Jekyll’s signature and though Enfield thought it was fake, it was
not.

Utterson, since he was Mr. Jekyll’s lawyer decides to read his living will, and he saw that Jekyll
would inherit all his will to some guy called Mr. Hyde if he dies, or disappears more than 3
months. After that, Utterson went to Hyde’s house to talk about it, but he couldn’t find Dr.
Jekyll. He even asked Lanyon, but he said that they were not friends anymore.

Dr. Jekyll organized a friends meeting, where invites Utterson, who took advantage to ask him
about Mr. Hyde. Jekyll told him not to worry about it, because he can get rid of Hyde easily.

One day, Mr. Carew is murdered by Mr. Hyde after they had a conversation, when Hyde lost
his mind. A young lady witnessed everything and passed out. When she woke up, she saw the
dead body and called the police, who finds a letter and realizes who the guilty was.

Utterson, after finding out that, asks Jekyll about his relation with Hyde, and he says that Hyde
won’t come back because of a letter he left. Utterson sees that the way Hyde writes is similar
to the way Jekyll does, which is very strange, and he asked himself why would his friend cover
up a murderer.

Some days past, and Jekyll stopped receiving friends at his house. Utterson worried about it,
but Lanyon didn’t want to know anything about Jekyll.

The time past, and Lanyon died. He had a letter that said “don´t open before Jekyll is dead or
disappears” so Utterson did not open it. When he was walking with Enfield they saw the door
from the beginning again. They saw that Jekyll was looking at his window, then he frightens, he
gets pale and run away closing the window.

Poole, Jekyll’s servant calls Mr. Utterson because something happened to Mr. Jekyll, he didn’t
let him in his office, and he had a very strange voice. They shoot down the door, since they
were sure the person that was inside, was Mr. Hyde.

They found Hyde’s body on the floor and a letter that said that Jekyll would not inherit his will
to Hyde anymore, but to Utterson. After that, he read the letter Lanyon left when he died
finding out the truth.

Jekyll sent a letter to Lanyon asking him to go for some products to his lab and to give them to
Hyde, who mix them and drinks it in front of him., he turned into Mr. Jekyll. The curiosity killed
the cat.

It results, that Jekyll thought that we all have a good side and a bad side, and he should
separate them, that’s how Hyde was created, he was Jekyll’s evil side. He even had to rent a
house and a signature to Hyde, because of the time he had to firm the check whit his own
name to the little girl’s family.
Hyde was a very mean man, and when he killed Carew, Jekyll decided not to take him out
anymore. He could not help at turning into Hyde against his will. Every time he would wake up
as Hyde. He ends up his confession, committing suicide and murdering Hyde.
