1. Only qualified personnel are allowed to install the antenna.

3. During installation, the water leakage hole must face
toward the ground, and the corresponding cable connector
must be waterproofed.
天线安装时，漏水孔需朝下，对应线缆接头需做防水处理。

1. Select cable lengths and connector types according to installation scenarios to make sure the cable connectors match the
antenna and RRU connectors.
根据实际的安装场景，选用合适的线缆长度和接头类型，确保天线和RRU端口与所选线缆接头匹配。
2. The installation method and tightening torque in scenarios 4 and 5 are the same. The following installation uses scenario 4
as an example.

a Install Straight-through Cables 直连线缆安装步骤

Connect the MQ cable to the antenna port. Align two Tighten the screw on the cable with the torque 20 N·m.

 Based on the mapping of cable labels, connect the RF cables to the cluster branch line cables and tighten the connectors
using two wrenches. Tightening torques are as follows:

For double-wrench tightening, use the combination wrench to fix the female cable connector, while using the
torque wrench to tighten the male cable connector clockwise.

Install RF Cables on the RRU
射频线缆在RRU侧的安装

Connect the other end of the cable to the ANT port at the bottom of
the RRU, and tighten it using a torque wrench. For details about the
tightening torque requirements, see the tightening torques for
different connectors.
依次将线缆另一端连接到RRU底部ANT接口，并用力矩扳手对接口进行紧

Caution/注意
Ensure that the operating frequency band of the antenna port is consistent with that of the RRU. Otherwise, the system
performance will deteriorate, and in extreme cases, the equipment may be damaged.
要确保天线端口工作的频段与RRU保持一致。否则，系统性能会下降，在极端情况下，设备可能会损坏。

Waterproofing
防水操作

Both waterproof tape and cold shrink tubing can be used for waterproofing.

NOTE/说明

1. When wrapping the insulation tape, ensure that the upper layer covers more than 50% of the lower layer. Wrap each layer
around the jumper tightly.

2. Before wrapping the waterproof tape, stretch the tape till the width of the tape becomes 1/2 of the original.

b Installation When a Cold Shrink Tubing Is Used 使用冷缩套管

NOTE/说明
Before using a cold shrink tubing, contact Huawei engineers to check whether the cold shrink tubing matches the cable.
使用冷缩套圈前请联系华为工程师确认套管是否与线缆匹配。

Route the RF cable through the cold shrink tubing.
Note that the RF cable must be routed in the opposite
direction of the arrow marked on the cold shrink tubing.
