 Sinulog Festival – Cebu - Visit the Queen City in
the south of the country to take part in this fiesta
honoring Santo Nino, the patron saint of Cebu.
One of the ten religious festivals celebrated in the
Philippines is called Sinulog. This is a week-long
celebration that includes parades, parties,
concerts, vibrant street dancing, and enticing
drum sounds. The dancing step is called "sinulog," which literally translates to "like the
water current."
 Ati-Atihan Festival – Aklan - This occasion, which is
held to honor Santo Nino, is comparable to Cebu's
Sinulog Festival. One of the best festivals in the
Philippines is the Ati-Atihan Festival, which takes place
in Aklan. One of the oldest holidays in the Philippines is
this religious feast.
 Panagbenga Festival – Baguio City - The Panagbenga
Festival, a month-long celebration in Baguio, is named
after the indigenous Kankana-ey phrase that meaning
"a season for blossoming" in the Cordillera region.
Visitors swarm the city during this time to see the
Grand Float Parade, which showcases enormous floral
floats dressed as various characters. Here, a lot of
famous people also perform. As a result, Panagbenga
has gained popularity throughout the Philippines.
 Dinagyang Festival – Iloilo City - Like the Sinulog and
Ati-Atihan Festivals, Dinagyang, which is a Hiligaynon
word that means "merrymaking," is one of the
religious celebrations in the Philippines that honors
the feast of the Santo Nio and the agreement between
the Datus and villagers. The event turns Iloilo City into
a huge street celebration with plenty of food and drink
every fourth Sunday of January. The city holds a
fiercely competitive street dancing competition where
tribes are represented by locals, and that's the most thrilling part.
 Lechon Festival – Batangas - Every 24th of June, a
celebration known as Parada ng Lechon for the
Lechon Festival is celebrated in St. John the Baptist's
honor. On certain occasions in the Philippines,
especially fiestas, lechon (roasted pig) is always
served. Lechons are paraded around town dressed as amusing characters during this
event, and everyone splashes water around. Everyone can already indulge in the festival's
lechons after the entire activities.
 Tuna Festival – General Santos City - In addition to being the hometown of world boxing
champion Manny Pacquiao, also known as
Pambansang Kamao, General Santos City is
the country's top fish producer. It is known as
the Tuna Capital of the Philippines since it is
home to 7 of the nation's tuna canning facilities.
Locals display the abundant catch of the
province at the Tuna Festival with vibrant,
ocean-themed floats. Another event that is
much anticipated is the Sugbahan sa Dalan,
where hundreds of kilograms of tuna are
immediately barbecued on a long line of grills
put up on the street. The finest part of this festival in the Philippines is that it is entirely
free.
