Does technology improve human life?

technology has affected people's lives in different ways, it has managed to change from
the way we socialize with each other to the forms of mobility that exist. As with any field, it
all depends on how it is applied; If technology is applied in a good way, it can improve and
facilitate various factors of life, a simple example is the invention of the telephone, this has
greatly facilitated the way in which we communicate, on the other hand, technology
Applied in a bad way, it can affect just as badly, for example, the invention of different
nuclear weapons throughout history. In order to analyze how technology has affected and
will affect people's lives, I want to quote a text called "Save yourself who can"
(Oppenheimer, 2018) in which he tells us about how technology changes certain fields
where people act. such as lawyers, doctors, etc. In this text we can find that many of these
jobs and fields where they were previously being handled by people will now be replaced
by machines that can perform these same jobs more quickly and efficiently.
To conclude, I would like to say that, if I agree that technology has greatly improved
human life but that at the same time, as with everything, it has had certain fields in which it
has affected them, I also think that it should always be sought first beneficiary the life of
the people before carrying out a more efficient and faster work.
