ANALYSIS FOR
EXPERIMENT #2

1. What effect did tough food have on the rabbit population's tooth length?
Because of tough foods, the length of the tooth's rabbits has to be longer for them to survive in their
environment. Having longer teeth will help the rabbit eat tough foods rather than shorter teeth

2. What effect did tough food have on the rabbit population with normal tooth length?

Having normal tooth lengths in rabbit will decrease their population because most of them can't bite through
tough foods which lessen their offspring.

3. Does the data in the table above support the hypothesis for this experiment?
Yes, the population starts to decrease in generation 4, where tough foods are manipulated because the smaller
teeth of rabbits can't bite through tough food. In generation 7, the population increases rapidly because of the
cause of mutation in their teeth which makes it longer.
