INFORMATION & TIPS
Clip cards are incredibly easy to prepare! After they are printed, laminated and cut –
you’ll have them for years! For simple storage on a binder ring, just punch a hole in
one of the corners. A simple organization that will be useful for years.

Clip cards are suited for special ed, remedial or intervention, learning pairs or small
groups at centers. The students clip a clothes pin on the correct answer. A learning
partner may check their work, and they can discuss their answers together. Another
option is to have the students point to the correct answer, or even use a whiteboard
marker (this demands cleaning up, so I prefer the clothes pins – the students also tend
to think this is more fun!) .

In this free version you will receive 16 clip cards (8 colored and 8 black and white)
In the full set there are a total of 63 clip cards that display a variety of animals. The
statements are tied to the species in general, or the specific animal on the card.
Statements can be tied to appearance, traits or actions.

There are black and white clip cards at the end of the document. Please note that
some of the black and white clip cards need to be colored in in order to answer
true/false statements about appearance. For lower functioning students I have added
a yes/no answer alternative set in the full version!
