Please note that this entry fee structure is valid only until 31 December
2022. Thereafter till 10th January 2023 the participants will have to
pay Rs. 500/- extra. Entries will also be accepted at the venue till
20:00 Hrs. on 16th January 2023 with a late fee of Rs. 1,000/-. No
request towards waiver of entry fee or waiver of late fee will be
entertained.

Tournament Rules:
System of Play-
The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and
FIDE Swiss System with 10 rounds. Accelerated pairings system will
be used for the first three rounds of the event.

Time Control-
90 Minutes plus 30 second increment from move 1 for entire game.
Draw Agreement-
Players shall not agree for a draw without the consent of the arbiter,
before each player makes 30 moves.

Tie Break-
In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect.
The Cash prizes however will not be shared.

Accommodation-
All GMs will be provided free hotel* accommodation on double
sharing basis.
All IMs/WGMs/WIMs will be provided free hotel accommodation
on double sharing basis.
All other participants will be provided free accommodation on
triple sharing basis/dormitory accommodation for entire duration
of the event.

Any player who finished 1st and 2nd in any rating restricted FIDE

Rated event for the last one year are not eligible to participate.

dormitory/triple sharing basis)

Entry for Delhi players : ₹ 6000/- (No lodging will be provided)
(Note: - Those Players who are registered with AICF under Delhi before

 COMMON RULES FOR ALL THREE
CATEGORIES

Age Group and Rating Category Prizes-

One player will be given one (higher) prize only. For age based
category prizes all the players below that particular age will be
considered even though there is another below age category is
available. For rating based category prizes, all the players below
that rating category including unrated will be considered.

Default Time (Walk Over Time)

The default time will be 30 minutes for all three categories.

Electronic Devices-
All electronic items including wrist watches (all type of watches)

are not allowed in the tournament hall.

Fair Play Regulations

FIDE Fair Play Regulations will be in force and players are obliged to

respect the rules.

Entry Registration

Players can pay the entry fee and submit the entries through Delhi

Chess Association online payment portal available at

www.delhichess.com (preferred mode of entry registration)

Players can also pay the entry fee directly to the following account

through NEFT and forward the entry form along with transaction

receipt. Please note that cash deposit in account will not be

entertained.

Discount-
Players of all Categories will get ₹500 discount in entry fee, if they

pay the entry fee before 30th November 2022.

Players of Category ‘C’ will get ₹1000 discount in entry fee, if they

opt to play Category ‘B’ also. This discount is available only upto 30

th November 2022.
Entry Form-
It is mandatory to forward the entry form in the given format for

accepting the entries along with prescribed entry fee.

AICF Registration-
All Indian players must be registered with AICF for the year 2022-23

before the registration deadline to participate in the tournament.

Online AICF registration can be done at the website

Weather-
The minimum/maximum temperature will be around 10/25 Degree

Celsius.

Reporting and Venue-

Players who require accommodation are to report at Hotel KC Plaza,

5588, Basant Lane, Paharganj, New Delhi (Opposite to New Delhi

Railway Station and Near Karnail Singh Stadium) as per arrival

schedule.

General Instructions-

The rooms with option facilities are limited in number and will be

Association account by NEFT and confirm the same by email.

In case you are not opted any above options, the organizing

committee will allot the rooms on first cum first serve basis as per the

hotel status and choice of roommates will not be feasible.
