ORIENTATION AND LEARNING SESSION ON THE CONDUCT OF PSYCHOSOCIAL

SUPPORT ACTIVITIES

In accordance with Division Memorandum No. 117 s. 2022 and in connection with DepEd,
Memorandum number DRRMS-08-04-2022-0001, the Grade 8 – BEGONIA adviser conducted the
psychosocial support activities to the learners last August 22, 2022. Strengthening the learners'
protective factors with psychosocial support including their capacity to recognize harmful and hazardous
situations. It can also be beneficial to encourage whole child development, including mental, emotional,
and social growth, especially at this time of epidemic. Also, to help children get used to
attending face-to-face classes  and address their concerns if any.

Psychosocial support activities are designed to encourage children to establish

healthy routines and help them connect with their peers.

While there are various ways to provide psychosocial support, conducting

recreational and educational activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, playing
games, as well as singing, musical instruments, and dance classes might be
incorporated during classes, especially for younger students.
