she thought. “If I can’t go out on my bike, I’ll go to the Footprints Club.”
Ellie has been a member of the Footprints Club since last year and she
loves it! “If it’s raining, we might watch a film,” she thought.
When she arrived, Tanya was already preparing the big screen and there
were some children organising the chairs. “Can I help?” asked Ellie. “Yes, you can prepare the
popcorn and the drinks. The microwave is over there.” “OK,” said Ellie.
At 11.00, they all sat down to watch the science fiction film. It was three hours long, and it was
brilliant!
It was about a peaceful alien planet that was discovered by astronauts. The astronauts wanted
to rule the planet so that humans could go and live there. There was a terrible war, but the aliens
won and the astronauts had to go home in their space shuttle.
