A survey done by our national minister of education and culture, Mr.

Nadiem tells us that the

aspects of global diversity include even lower tolerance, respectively from elementary to high school
by only 5 percent, 13 percent, and 24 percent compared to the whole numbers of Indonesian
students.

When you look around, diversity is something that you see almost everywhere. People from
different cultures, religions, races, and ethnicities are all around us. Even the places where people
live are diverse. The same can be said about businesses and industries as well: there are small mom-
and-pop operations and big corporations. In other words, diversity is something that we see every
single day of our lives. Yet, what does it mean to have this kind of diversity in everyday life? What
does it mean to have unity in diversity? And how can these two things impact your life?

What is the Importance of Unity?

There are many different definitions of unity. Some people define unity as being the same, while
others define it as being a certain difference among them. These differences can be based on
culture, language, ideology, and thoughts. When it comes to these two concepts, there is a delicate
balance that needs to be maintained for a community, organization, or society to function properly.
Unity is having a sense of connection and harmony among a group of people. It is about people
sharing common goals, beliefs, and values and coming together to accomplish these goals. When
you have unity, you have people who can work together and support each other. You have people
who can create an environment that feels safe and welcoming to everyone.

Unity Through Diversity

Unity through diversity is when you have various people with different backgrounds, skills, cultures,
and ideas that come together to form something new and beautiful. It is when you have people with
different backgrounds coming together to form something greater than what they could have ever
been on their own. Unity through diversity is when people have an open mind and an open heart. It
is when they are accepting of others, no matter what they look like, what they believe, or where
they come from. It is when you can come together with others and create something beautiful, no
matter what background you come from.

The Importance of Accepting Differences

When people can accept one another for what they are and what they believe, it creates a sense of
unity and harmony. It is critical that we can accept each other for our differences and that we can
understand the reason behind those differences. When you can accept others for their differences, it
means that you can look beyond their differences and see them for who they truly are. It means that
you can look at the person, not their skin color, religion, sexual orientation, or other differences.
There are many reasons why it is so important to be able to accept others for their differences. First
of all, it means that you can let go of your biases and judgments toward other people. It means that
you can let go of the negative feelings that you have towards other people and move towards having
positive feelings toward them.

Conclusion

There is a delicate balance between unity and diversity that needs to be maintained. When there is
too much unity, it leads to intolerance and discrimination. When there is too much diversity, it leads
to isolation and disunity. When there is unity through diversity, it leads to acceptance and
understanding of differences. It leads to communities, organizations, and societies where people feel
safe welcomed, and appreciated for who they are. It leads to a world where everyone is treated with
respect and dignity, no matter what they believe or who they are.
