B. Read the technical description of your sample title and plot it on AutoCad.
Plotted in AutoCad
C. Examine the given technical description of the title if the boundary and area are correct.
In plotting the actual technical description, we noticed that the line 7-1 exceeded and
went to the road so we solved for the correction of the lot using compass rule to lessen or
eliminate the error occurred or present in the description. We tried also the transit rule but
disregarded it since it leads us to a non allowable error and a bigger discrepancy. As stated on the
technical description, the area is supposed to be 692 sq. m but using the DMD method solving
for the area given the adjusted entities by compass rule, we got 697.64sq m. We also checked the
area in the AutoCad application and it gave us 697.5528 sq. m. so there is a more than 5 sq m
discrepancy.
Solution:
D. Then try to identify on which government office should a Geodetic Engineer to request a
survey authority and to gather data of the adjoining lots.
Since the lot is located at Magalang, Pampanga, the Geodetic Engineer should request the
survey authority to the office of Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO)
of Pampanga and in gathering the data of the adjoining lots, the office to inquire is the
Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
