As we learnt in Module 1, students learn English for a variety of different reasons. It is very useful,
therefore,
to carry out an initial Needs Analysis with your learners when they join your class. 
Some teaching centres may already have such procedures in place. 
If not, you may wish to design your own formal or informal analysis to find out what students want to
focus on or improve in class. An example is below:
