Introduction:-
 A stadium is one of those building typologies which have the ability to
shape a town or city.
 A stadium helps in establishing an identity and put community on the
map.
 They represent a nation's pride and aspiration.
 Sports always has played an important role in national pride and what's
better way to showcase this pride in stadium.
 Sports and Stadium has interrelated relation with each other since earlier
times.
 The gateway to modern day stadium is the first Olympic stadium, which
is the latest enhancement of technology and creation of mega structure.
Glimpse of Project:-
 BCCI has proposed 13 International Stadiums in India For Upcoming
2023 World Cup, One Of The Stadium Is/-Bangalore International
stadium at Bangalore- Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) Road.
 The stadium will have a following enlisted requirements below. It will
accommodate nearly 90,000 spectators.
 The stadium will provide a venue to sportspersons from Bangalore and
the surroundings.
 As far as financial viability is concerned, the project will be aided by the
BCCI and will be getting revenues from national/ international sports
meets, tournaments and concerts.
 Special efforts are required for the comportents of the project like Media
lounge, Broadcasting facility, V.I.P seats, Dressing Room, Commentary
box, Roof, Flood lighting etc.
