Collecting the available data from the respective

Digitizing of the Geobotanical maps for TCCA-
RA project PIA. The maps are available as a 54000 20 10800
hard copy in TOJIKZAMINSOZ institute. Time
series analyses of vegetation cover loss in the
4 regions. Identification of the area of growth of
the main types of vegetation, excessively
harvested by residents. Visualization of the
degradation trends on map using open source
images and collected data.
Determine the distribution of land per capita in
the PIA. This includes identifying crop areas 26000 20 5200
and orchards, as well as other types of land per

capita that contribute to food security in the
regions. Collection of existing data related to
Land statistic.
Identification of the zones and level of
precipitation for the five project regions. 55000 30 16500
Comparing the historical and actual data on
6 precipitation levels. Highlight project districts
on the background precipitation map of the
country. The historical precipitation data should
show the precipitation change in PIA. 
Conducting a land cover classification for the
entire project regions. More than five classes 55000 30 16500
like, Crop Lands, Grassland/Shrubland, built
up and settlements, Bare lands (soil and rock),
Water (rivers and lakes), Trees/ Forests should

be classified. The type of classes and
methodology for LCCS will be provided by DRI
“Fazo”. Ground truthing of developed maps in
the field. The open source images such us
Sentinel and Landsat must be used.
8 Development of Soil maps (Scale 1:50 000) for
TCCA-RA PIA. The soil maps of the project 40000 30 12000
Districts will show the soil type and soil
condition for the entire project Districts.
Assessment of the soil erosion and humidity.
 The analyses must be done based on the
archived data/maps of the Soil Institution
