Practice Interview

Date: January 15,2019

January 15 is the day of our interview Ms Suarez is our

interviewer. The day before our interview she inform us to bring our

resume. And after that i make my resume then past it to Ms. Suarez.

The time has come we are going to have the practice interview.

I’m nervous on that time and im not yet ready to face that interview.

But i need to surpass it. And the interview went well.

I have learned more on that and i want it to enhance because i

can use it for the upcoming years.

A Million Carat of Knowledge

Date: February 28,2019

Last Month, February 28 we have a lecture about Work

Immersion. Our lecturer is a Barista and he have a lot of experience of

what the job we can have in the near future. He share his experience to

us.

He started explaining about Personality Development. He told

us the step of how to develop our personality and it can help us to

improve our self. He teach us about ethics and he explain the importance

of work ethics. After thathe discuss a lot about are strand and the

career opportunities that we can have in the near future.

I have learned about what he discuss to us. And i discover the

job that suits to me. For now i want myself to improve because based on

his discussion there's something for me that needs improvement. I will

apply to myself everything that i have learned in his discussion.

Believed in Yourself

Date: March 1,2019

In the last past days March 1 we have a interview. Our

interviewer is a professionals and she share her experience to us. The

interviewer interview us and discuss some strategies to do better when

we are in that situation or interview. Interviewer also explain to us

the proper answer and some of the question that always asked in the

interview.

The interviewer asked a question one by one and then we answer

her question promptly. The interviewer explain to us the basic steps

when you are in a interview. And the interviewer teach us the best thing

to do our interview well. Interviewer also explain to us the proper

uniform and the appearance when you are in the interview.

The interviewer discuss about communication with the interviewers you

need to speak clearly when you talk to interviewers. And you need to

respond the question promptly.

It’s a very nice experience for me because its give me new

knowledge and information. Work immersion helps the student to achieve

their goals.

I’ve learned that i still have a lot to learn

Venue: Bayview Hotel

Date: Mar 07,2019

Last march 7 we are going in a bayview hotel. This is my

favorite part in work immersion because where doing a lot of fun.

Bayview hotel is a 3 star so it means that every rooms in that hotel are

expensive but it’s okay because the price are suits to its rooms. The

place of Bayview hotel are fancy looking. Bayview hotel have a coffee

shop.

We have a discussion about our strand. Our lecturer is a

business women she discuss some of her strategies to be a successful

business women. She explain to us the step of how to handle a business.

She teach us the best thing to do our job success. After she explain a

lot to us, the staff in that hotel tour us to the rooms of hotel and

explain everything in that rooms. The staff explain the price of every

rooms and every rooms that where going in she always taking pictures of

us.

I have a good experience in that hotel. Work immersion helps

me to learn more about job and its gives me happiness. Work immersion

gave me more information.

Reflection: Knowledge and Understanding

Work Immersion helps the student to improve their personality

and to know the job that suits to students. Work Immersion gives more

knowledge to student and it will enhance their strength and weaknesses.

It is a good experience to us because there's a lot of knowledge that

will apply to our self and i realized that you need to make our self

better.

In the past days that we have a work immersion i’ve experience

a lot; like interview, discussion and going in a hotel. Our interviewers

is from other schools then the interview is start and its success,

Actually it’s not my first time in a interview but i’m so nervous in

that time but i need to face it. The discussion is about our strand and

career opportunities that we can have in the present. Our lecturer

discuss to us what the student going to do when they are in the job. And

lastly but not the least going a hotel is one of my favorite because the

staff in that hotel are attentive. Then we have a discussion, our

lecturer is a businesswoman she explain to us and teach some of her

strategies to be a successful business women.

Work immersion gives me happiness because i’ve learned how to

handle a job. For now on everything will be change i want my self to

better one.

An Experience on A Practice Job Interview

Venue: School Corridor

Date: January 15,2019

The week before January 15, she told us to make our resume.

Afterwards , we make our resume. Then we passed it before January 15.

She also told us that we are going to have a practice interview.

January 15 is the day that we had our practice interview. But

i am nervous before the exact time because it is my first time. During

the interview, she asked me about myself, the job that wanted to have

and the usual questions which is being asked in an actual interview.

After the Interview, I have learned the typical questions

which is being asked in an interview. And she also gave us an advice and

tips that would help us. I feel a little bit confident after the

interview because i had some clue or background about what is going to

happened there.

A Day Full of Knowledge

Date: February 28,2019

Last February 28,2019 is the day that we had our lecture by a

Barista who works in an establishment. The lecture start on 1:00 o’clock

in the afternoon up to 5:00. But before the lecture start, he tell us

something about his life.

The lecture finally start. The first thing he tackle about is

the personality development, how to develop the winning personality (The

18 carats of gold to develop a winning personality) and the proper

decorum. Next is the technical vocational strand etiquette, manners in

hospitality. It tackles about the right manner towards the quest, the

way of talking to them , the right posture and such.

After the discussion or lecture, i have learned a lot. I also

discovered more about the specialization that i am taking. The lecture

gave us something that we can utilized.

Unforgettable Experience

Venue: Bayview Hotel

Date: March 7,2019

Weeks before the work immersion, our teacher gave us a waiver

that allow us to go through the work immersion you also need to undergo

to a medical check-up to prove that you are physically fit to go. After

that you ate free to go to work immersion.

Today is the day of our work immersion. 5:30 am is our call

time while 6:00 am is our departure time. But we arrived at 7:00am when

we reached our destination, we enter the hotel (Bayview park Hotel

Manila). The staff accompany us to the 10th floor (seminar room). After

the seminar, the staff accompany us to different floors to show the

different types of rooms that they offer and discussed to us the price

or the inclusion of it.

After that, I have learned a lot about their hotel just like:

it have a 282 rooms and 14 function rooms. I enjoyed the tour in their

hotel.

Reflection: A Stepping Stone To Improvement

Venue: Rizal hall Room 412

Date: March 14,2019

The first day of our meeting with our teacher, she told us to

make an essay about our expectation about this subject. The first lesson

we tackle is all about the ethics: work and factors of a good work

ethics.

The following day is just the same as the first one. She

discussed every monday then on tuesday we will make our activity while

we make our weekly diary on thursday. Our schedule goes like that every

week, but sometimes we can have a free time.

There are so many things you can learn/ experience in work

immersion. You will learn a lot not only in this subject but also about

something you can utilize for the future. I am satisfied about the

things that i have experienced in work immersion.
